Our client is looking for a strategic and hands-on AVP/VP, Actuarial Modeling & Analytics to join our Product & Data team. This is a high-impact role where you’ll build our actuarial modeling capabilities from the ground up and help drive smarter, faster decision-making across the company.
What You’ll Do
- Build predictive pricing models using actuarial + ML techniques
- Partner with engineering to shape data strategy and ensure model-ready data
- Collaborate cross-functionally with underwriting, claims, and finance
- Own the full model lifecycle: idea → build → deploy
- Mentor others and help grow a best-in-class analytics team
What We’re Looking For
- Credentialed actuary or statistical background with strong P&C pricing experience (E&S a plus)
- Skilled in Python or R, SQL, and Excel
- Proven ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Startup mindset: proactive, solution-oriented, and comfortable with ambiguity
- Collaborative, curious, and passionate about building something great
