Become a part of our caring communityThe Director, Quality Engineering carries out procedures to ensure that all information systems products and services meet organization standards and end-user requirements. The Director, Quality Engineering requires an in-depth understanding of how organization capabilities interrelate across the function or segment.The Director, Quality Engineering performs and leads tests of software to ensure proper operation and freedom from defects. May create test data for applications. Documents and works to resolve all complex problems. Reports progress on problem resolution to management. Devises improvements to current procedures and develops models of possible future configurations. Acts as information resource about assigned areas to technical writers. Performs complex work flow analysis and recommends quality improvements. Decisions are typically related to the implementation of new/updated programs or large-scale projects for the function and supporting technical/operational procedures and processes, and implements strategic plans, drives goals and objectives, and improves performance. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.$156,600 - $215,400 per yearThis job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan.
