Desktop Support Specialist

Location: Near Stone Hill Park, Stafford, United Kingdom (Onsite) Role Type: Dispatch on Demand Support (Freelance / Contract) DSSL L1 Dispatch Engineer We are actively seeking an experienced DSSL L1 Dispatch Engineer to provide onsite desktop and end-user support services in a 24/7 enterprise environment. This is an excellent opportunity for IT support professionals looking for flexible dispatch-based assignments with attractive overtime compensation. Responsibilities Provide onsite Desktop Support and End-User Computing (EUC) services. Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and operating system issues. Support laptops, desktops, printers, and peripheral devices. Manage user accounts and permissions through Active Directory. Deploy, manage, and troubleshoot devices using Microsoft Intune and SCCM. Support BitLocker encryption and endpoint security configurations. Perform break-fix activities and incident resolution within SLA targets. Coordinate with remote teams and stakeholders for issue escalation and resolution. Required Skills & Experience Hardware & Software Troubleshooting. Strong Incident Management and Problem-Solving Skills. Weekday OOH Rate: 1.25x Standard Rate. Experience in Field Services, Desktop Support, or EUC Engineering. Comfortable working independently in a dispatch-based environment. Available for immediate start or short notice deployment.
