Accounting Advisory Consultant

Accounting Advisory Consultant Description: Our client is a boutique Accounting/Finance Consulting firm looking to bring on a new Accountant to work with a book of small business clients. This includes working with CPAs and clients to complete monthly/quarterly financial reports, AP/AR, Payroll, and bank reconciliations. This role is work from home 4 days/week and on-site 1 day/week, offers outstanding work/life balance and growth opportunities. Responsibilities: Data entry of financial transactions for multiple clients in accounting writeup software Review client Quickbooks general ledgers and prepare necessary journal entries Bank reconciliations and preparation of Financial Statements Process payroll tax/sales tax returns in a timely manner Provide office support (answering phones and customer service) Skills: 1+ year of general ledger accounting or consulting experience preferred Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting principles Ability to prioritize based on deadlines Data entry skills, good with numbers Hands-on experience with spreadsheets and accounting software Customer service and experience working with clients High degree of accuracy and attention to detail Seniority level: Associate Employment type: Full-time Job function: Accounting/Auditing Industries: Accounting and Business Consulting and Services Ascendo is a certified minority owned staffing firm, and we welcome and celebrate diversity.
