Surge Staffing is seeking a motivated, energetic, and people-focused Recruiter to join our growing team. This is a full-time, permanent internal position offering an excellent opportunity for individuals with recruiting, customer service, sales, or human resources experience who are looking to build a rewarding career in talent acquisition and workforce solutions. Responsibilities Recruit, source, screen, and interview qualified candidates for open positions Utilize job boards, resume databases, referrals, and recruiting platforms to identify potential candidates Review resumes and assess candidate qualifications, skills, and experience Coordinate interviews between candidates and hiring managers Communicate with candidates throughout the hiring process to provide updates and maintain engagement Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified candidates for current and future openings Match candidate qualifications with job requirements and hiring manager needs Extend job offers and assist with pre-employment requirements and onboarding Conduct follow-up communications to support candidate satisfaction, retention, and successful placements Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs, job requirements, and hiring priorities Maintain accurate candidate records, applicant tracking systems, and recruiting documentation Monitor recruiting activity, follow up on outstanding applications, and support timely hiring decisions Provide exceptional customer service to candidates, employees, and internal stakeholders Support additional recruiting and administrative initiatives as needed Qualifications Minimum of 1 year of recruiting, sales, and/or customer service experience required High school diploma or equivalent required Previous experience in recruiting, staffing, human resources, or talent acquisition preferred Strong verbal and written communication skills Excellent interpersonal, relationship-building, and interviewing skills Ability to evaluate candidate qualifications and identify suitable job matches Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint) Ability to multitask, prioritize workloads, and meet recruiting deadlines Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills Self-motivated, team-oriented, and results-driven mindset Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment Preferred Skills Recruiting and Talent Acquisition Candidate Sourcing Resume Screening Interviewing and Candidate Assessment Candidate Relationship Management Hiring Manager Collaboration Interview Scheduling Offer Management and Onboarding Microsoft Office Suite Customer Service and Communication Why Join Surge Staffing?
