Clinical Location: Reno & Sparks, Nevada Positions Available: 4 Outpatient Pharmacists | 2 Clinical Pharmacists Start Date: November 30, 2026 Contract Length: 26 Weeks Contract Type: Temp-to-Perm Preferred Guaranteed Hours: 40 Hours/Week Pay Local: $70 - $80/ hr Pay Travel: $2800 - $3300 Gross weekly Floating: Required – Must be willing to float between all three facilities Facilities:

• Kaiser Permanente Ion Medical Offices – Sparks, NV
• Kaiser Permanente Fifth Street Medical Offices – Reno, NV
• Kaiser Permanente Del Monte Medical Offices – Reno, NV

Schedule

8-hour variable shifts scheduled within the following operating hours:

• Monday–Friday: 8:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• Saturday–Sunday: 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM
• Ion Medical Offices: Open Monday–Sunday
• Del Monte Medical Offices: Open Monday–Sunday
• Fifth Street Medical Offices: Open Monday–Friday only
• Weekend Note: Ion and Del Monte have a 30-minute lunch closure on weekends.

Required Qualifications

• Active Nevada Pharmacist License
• Minimum 6 months of retail/outpatient pharmacy experience
• Strong patient counseling and medication education skills
• Experience with Medication Reconciliation and Medication Therapy Management (MTM)
• Experience with formulary conversion
• Experience with new member onboarding
• Experience supporting patients with:
• Diabetes
• COPD
• Asthma
• Strong communication and patient-facing skills
• Ability and willingness to float between all three Kaiser Permanente facilities
• PGY1 Pharmacy Residency preferred for Clinical Pharmacist positions

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive outpatient pharmacy services and patient-centered medication care.
• Counsel patients on medications, proper usage, potential side effects, and adherence.
• Perform medication reconciliation and Medication Therapy Management (MTM).
• Assist patients with chronic disease medication management, including Diabetes, COPD, and Asthma.
• Support formulary conversion initiatives and new member onboarding.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize medication therapy.
• Maintain accurate pharmacy documentation and comply with applicable pharmacy regulations.
• Provide coverage at all three Kaiser Permanente locations as needed.

Holiday / RTO Policy

• December 25 and January 1: All facilities will be closed.
• These closures are already accounted for in the schedule.
• No additional RTO will be approved for these holiday dates.
• Candidates should be prepared to work their assigned schedule around the holiday closures.
