Pediatric Hospitalist

Pediatrix Medical Group is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Pediatric Hospitalist to join their collaborative team at Winchester Medical Center in Winchester, VA. This role offers a rewarding opportunity to provide high-quality, family-centered care in a well-supported community hospital setting. Practice Info
- Care for patients on a 17-bed pediatric floor and in the newborn nursery
- Support approximately 2400 annual deliveries
- Pediatric Floor ADC: 5
- Newborn Nursery ADC: 15
- Daytime support from Advanced Practice Providers
- Collaborate with a network of pediatric subspecialists available both onsite and via telehealth through University of Virginia and INOVA Children's National
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality, family-centered care
- Engage in teaching and interdisciplinary collaboration
- Care for patients on a 17-bed pediatric floor
- Care for patients in the newborn nursery
- Support approximately 2400 annual deliveries
- Perform daytime rounding
- Provide out-of-house call with a 30-minute response time
- Teach and mentor Family Medicine Residents
