Data Consultant

Overview A growing data and technology consultancy is hiring a Data Consulting Director to lead high-impact client engagements at the intersection of architecture, advisory and revenue generation. This is not an internal Head of Data role. This is a client-facing consulting leadership position for someone who can operate confidently in executive conversations, shape commercial deals, define technical solutions and ensure what is sold is delivered properly. Role: Data Consulting Director Salary: $200,000 to $260,000 + performance-based OTE of $50,000 Location: Remote w. Frequent travel for Client Visits What you’ll be doing Lead executive-level conversations around data strategy, analytics maturity and modernisation Diagnose complex client challenges and define clear, outcome-led roadmaps Shape scope, pricing and solution positioning alongside Sales teams Design high-level modern data architectures aligned to business goals Provide technical direction through early delivery to ensure continuity and quality Formalise consulting offerings, frameworks and methodologies Contribute directly to data-related revenue growth What you’ll need 10+ years’ experience across data engineering, analytics or data consulting Strong client-facing experience with commercial responsibility Proven track record shaping and closing complex data engagements Hands-on experience with modern data platforms such as Snowflake, BigQuery, Databricks or Redshift Experience with data pipelines and orchestration tools such as dbt, Airflow or Spark Background in consulting or professional services Ability to operate comfortably across strategy, sales and technical execution What’s on offer A genuine seat at the table shaping how data consulting is defined and delivered Influence over go-to-market positioning and commercial strategy Close collaboration with executive leadership A role that blends architecture depth with commercial impact This position would suit someone credible in front of a CTO, confident influencing pricing and scope, and motivated by owning both technical direction and revenue growth. #J-18808-Ljbffr Digital Waffle
