Physician Assistant / Nurse Practitioner Fellowship

Salary: $85,000 per annum. Annual signing bonus of $10,000 is offered for qualified Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants. The Urgent Care Fellowship program is a minimum 9‑month continuing specialty rotation that provides enhanced clinical experience in Urgent Care Medicine. Fellows receive one‑on‑one preceptorship with the Urgent Care Clinical Faculty, hands‑on patient care, ongoing lectures, and a guided didactic curriculum. Responsibilities Work collaboratively with Urgent Care teams under the mentorship of experienced NP/PA’s to provide patient care at all sites. Examine, diagnose, and treat patients of all ages with acute illnesses, injuries, or exacerbations of chronic disease. Order evidence‑based testing, prescribe medications, and refer to outside specialists as required. Provide occupational medicine services, including DOT exams and treatment of Worker’s Compensation injuries. Perform pre‑participation physicals for camps, sports, and employment. Maintain patient charts accurately and comprehensively; document patient information in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR). Qualifications Successful completion of an accredited PA or FNP program. Physician Assistants must hold active board certification with NCCPA. Family Nurse Practitioners must hold active board certification with AANP or ANCC. Licensure as a Physician Assistant or Family Nurse Practitioner in the state of application. Demonstrated clinical competence, superior verbal and written communication skills, interpersonal effectiveness, customer‑relations skills, computer competence, and an active desire to learn.
