Phlebotomist

Job Responsibilities Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups. Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc. Perform accurate and timely data entry of patient information. Process billing information and collect payments. Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis. Maintain patient and specimen information logs. Provide superior customer service to all patients. Perform administrative and clerical duties as necessary. Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or GED or equivalent. Phlebotomy certification or completed training program, or at least 3 months of experience as a phlebotomist. Preferred Qualifications At least 6 months of experience as a phlebotomist. Additional Job Standards Phlebotomy certification or completed training program must come from an accredited agency if work experience is lacking. Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to work independently or as part of a team. Comfortable working under minimal supervision. Reliable transportation. Flexibility to work overtime as needed. Ability to pass a standardized color‑blindness test. Phlebotomists may be eligible for participation in the PST Incentive Plan, which pays a quarterly bonus based on performance metrics. Benefits Employees scheduled for 20 or more hours per week are eligible for comprehensive benefits, including Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, STD/LTD, 401(k), Paid Time Off (PTO) or Flexible Time Off (FTO), Tuition Reimbursement, and Employee Stock Purchase Plan. Employees scheduled for less than 20 hours, as well as Casual, Intern, and Temporary employees, are eligible only for the 401(k) Plan. Employees scheduled for a 7 on/7 off pattern are eligible for all benefits except PTO or FTO.
