About the Financial Product Team The Financial Product Engineering team leads Rippling’s expansion into FinTech. Our mission is to build a unified, global financial system for businesses—integrated with employee, HR, and IT data—to simplify processes like global payroll, corporate spending, and expense management, giving precise control and real‑time visibility over all money movement. What We Build Global Payroll: Systems for calculating, filing, and processing payroll across multiple countries, incorporating tax logic, compliance, and direct money movement infrastructure. What You Will Do Design and implement features with an emphasis on backend logic, API development, and data integrity, while also contributing to frontend implementation. Work across the stack, focusing on API design, event modeling, and robust data management while ensuring a seamless connection to the user interface. Own the full development lifecycle for features, ensuring that the backend architecture supports reliable functionality and excellent frontend performance. Work closely with cross‑functional partners to understand requirements, refine technical scope, and drive successful, reliable feature delivery. What You Will Need 2+ years of professional experience focused on full‑stack development, delivering reliable, end‑to‑end products using a backend language (e.g., Python/Go) and frontend technologies such as React/TypeScript. Ability to prioritize projects based on business impact, ensuring high‑quality implementation without unnecessary complexity. Capacity to thrive in dynamic environments, switching quickly between frontend and backend work to accelerate delivery. Strong communication skills to articulate technical trade‑offs across the stack with clarity and precision to both frontend and backend partners.
