Clinical Supervisor

Job TitleResponsible for improving the competency of direct service staff and providing structured processes for them to learn and develop clinical skills.Operation PAR, Inc. is a non-profit organization offering the full continuum of services for individuals with substance use and/or mental health diagnosis. PAR has been providing comprehensive behavioral health treatment in west Florida since 1970 through advocacy, education, clinical service, and research.Job Summary:Responsible for improving the competency of direct service staff and providing structured processes for them to learn and develop clinical skills. Provides opportunities for clinical staff to explore clinical practices, build theories, and examine how they may act in their professional roles. Develops a framework for evaluating clinical skills, abilities, and knowledge. Supervises and assists clinical staff in performing substance abuse and mental health counseling work on both an individual patient basis and in a group setting. Responsible for providing clinical services to patients as needed and documenting in accordance with company standards. Reviews and signs Psychosocial Assessments completed by the Clinical Assessor and may also be required to complete Psychosocial Assessments themselves as needed to maintain regulatory compliance. Provides supervision and guidance for Recovery Peer Specialists with a focus on developing their skills in advocacy, mentoring, recovery support, and professional responsibility.Benefits:9 paid holidays per year3 weeks of PTO per year (on top of holidays).
