Essential Functions:

• Assists in managing classroom ensuring compliance with all regulations, company standards, policies and

procedures.

• Provides a welcoming & friendly classroom environment for children, parents & visitors.
• Assists in maintaining attractive and current classroom/hallway displays and an educational and informative

Parent Board that is updated regularly.

• Assists in creating and implementing thorough, timely lesson plans that are age appropriate and stimulating

in accordance with Celebree's curriculum;

• Assists in managing effective classroom transitions.
• Assists and supervises children during all activities; counsel children as needed using positive and appropriate

discipline techniques.

• Ensures that appearance, cleanliness and safe environment of classroom is appropriately maintained.
• Assists in completing all classroom paperwork
• Communicates effectively with parents, e.g., greeting by name, addressing concerns in a timely manner,

giving positive feedback, and providing regular updates on their child's development and classroom

happenings.

• Identifies opportunities and/or problems in the classroom/School and works with the Lead teacher and

Director to resolve.

Requirements

Education/Experience: Experience in child care industry preferred

Salary Description


$15-$17/hr
