About P2 Science

P2 Science is a green chemistry company that develops high-performance specialty ingredients from renewable feed stocks using its proprietary PICE® process. P2’s ingredients serve the personal care and fragrance markets, delivering performance and sustainability to global customers.

Work Schedule:

Part time - 4 hours a day, 5 days a week (up to 20 hours).

Flexibility is required to support occasional overtime or weekend work based on testing schedules and business needs.

Responsibilities / Job Functions:

• Support daily laboratory operations through cleaning, preparation, and maintenance of laboratory glassware and equipment
• Maintain an organized, efficient, and compliant laboratory environment to support research and testing activities
• Monitor and manage chemical inventory, including labeling, stocking, and tracking laboratory materials
• Coordinate and order laboratory supplies to ensure uninterrupted workflow and operational readiness
• Assist laboratory staff with general operational support and administrative tasks as needed

Safety Responsibilities:

• Comply with all company safety policies and procedures
• Follow proper handling, storage, and disposal procedures for chemicals and laboratory waste

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail and the ability to effectively manage multiple priorities
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Flexibility to work overtime as needed to support laboratory operations
• Dependable team player with a proactive attitude and willingness to learn in a fast-paced laboratory environment

Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma
