Operating Room CirculatorWe are seeking a dedicated Operating Room Circulator to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting various surgical procedures, including assistance with C-sections in the labor and delivery unit. This position offers flexibility in scheduling, with options for 8 or 10-hour shifts, depending on personal preference and operational needs.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide excellent patient care and support during surgical procedures, including specialty clinics such as podiatry, cardiac, and general surgery.Assist with pain management and other related interventions as needed.Respond to on-call duties specifically for obstetrical C-sections, adhering to a call-back timeframe of 30 minutes.Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure a safe and efficient operating environment.Maintain compliance with all relevant protocols and guidelines within the operating room.QualificationsCurrent Registered Nurse (RN) license in Kansas or a multistate license.AHA BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications are required.Strong background in Critical Access Hospital (CAH) operations is preferred.Experience in central sterile processing is beneficial.Ability to take on call responsibilities as outlined, including availability for 10-14 days per month.Work ScheduleThe position offers flexibility in scheduling, with options for 8-hour shifts (7 AM - 3:30 PM) or 10-hour shifts (four days a week). The specific schedule can be tailored to individual preferences after commencement.Additional InformationHousing options include local hotels and rental accommodations within a short distance. Scrubs will be provided, and familiarity with CPSI-Evident EMR systems and PeriGen for obstetrics is advantageous.
