Through interactive training, mentoring from successful commercial lenders, and hands-on administration of customer portfolios, you will achieve valuable analytical skills, sales experience, and an understanding of Frost’s relationship management process and culture. What you’ll do:Attend Financial Services University (FSU). FSU is a comprehensive hands-on formal credit training program focusing on financial analysis training, learning the best use of lending systems, and understanding Frost cultureDevelop loan packages and make recommendations by analyzing size, structure, and conducting approval assessmentsBecome familiar with your clients and their business to understand and act on their needsAchieve monthly call and product sales goals set by the sales coachReport weekly activity and marketing results to the sales coach of business bankingManage and support loan commitments with accuracy and efficiencyChampion Frost’s philosophy and core values in the work you do by caring for your clients, having a willingness to do more than you’re asked because it’s the right thing to do, and doing so with excellenceProcess referrals from the financial center relationship managers and other areas of the bank for small business products, including loans, depository accounts, trusts, and cash management servicesSupport specific financial centers’ defined geographic areas, specific census tracts, and customer relationships once products are sold and accounts are openedStay up to date on bank products and services by regularly attending training classesWhat you’ll need:Bachelor’s degree in business, preferably accounting or finance, with a minimum 2.75 GPA6+ hours of accounting or equivalent graduate-level courseworkExcellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong organizational and time management skillsPrevious banking experience and knowledge of bank productsProficient in Microsoft applicationsAbility to start Jan 2027 or July 2027Additional Preferred Skills:GPA of 3.0 or better in your majorUndergraduate or graduate coursework emphasizing financial statement analysis9+ hours of Accounting, including Intermediate Accounting I, or equivalent graduate level AccountingFrost Benefits:At Frost, we care about your health, your family, and your future and strive to have our benefits reflect that.
