Dental AssistantLamoille Health Partners is seeking a detail-oriented and professional Dental Assistant to join our clinical team. This role provides essential support to dentists and dental hygienists, ensuring efficient "four-handed" clinical care and maintaining a high-standard sterile environment. The ideal candidate will balance technical proficiency in dental procedures with a focus on patient comfort and clear communication.Key ResponsibilitiesClinical Support: Provide chairside assistance during exams, fillings, extractions, and restorative procedures.Patient Care: Prepare patients for treatment, update medical histories, and deliver post-operative care instructions.Radiography: Perform high-quality digital X-rays and take impressions for study casts or appliances.Infection Control: Maintain clinical safety by strictly adhering to CDC and OSHA protocols for instrument sterilization and operatory turnover.Administrative Accuracy: Ensure precise, real-time documentation within the Electronic Dental Record (EDR) system.QualificationsEducation: High school diploma or equivalent; completion of an accredited Dental Assisting program is preferred.Certifications:Dental Radiography: Required.
