Job Opportunity: Part-Time Family Practitioner (MD/DO)

Our organization is a physician-led, accountable multispecialty group practice with over 650 providers, currently offering an exciting opportunity for a part-time Family Practitioner (MD/DO) . This role is based at our International Clinic, which is part of the Center for Global Health & Healing (CGHH) program.

The International Clinic is dedicated to addressing the healthcare needs of families and individuals who have recently settled in our community through refugee resettlement and various immigration pathways. We aim to deliver respectful, trauma-informed, culturally sensitive, and equitable care to all families in the Treasure Valley. Our clinic serves a diverse patient population from around the world.

To overcome existing barriers to care, we implement several initiatives, including:

• Home visits
• Collaboration with the CARE Clinic
• Community Interpreter services
• Partnerships with various community agencies

Our providers are deeply committed to offering equitable healthcare and enhancing the quality and accessibility of medical services for vulnerable populations. The clinic employs an integrative care model that fosters collaboration among interpreters, social workers, health advisors, and resettlement agencies, ensuring continuity of care for our patients.

Conveniently located near the Regional Medical Center, our practice also offers additional services, including Ob-Gyn, Travel Medicine, and Civil Surgeon services. We provide robust support, including:

• 24/7 CRNA Anesthesia
• Level IV Trauma Center
• Emergency Department
• On-site Family Medicine clinic
• Access to community primary care and specialty clinics
• Rotating specialty physicians from our larger system

Requirements

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree
• Completion of an accredited ACGME/AOA Family Medicine residency program
• Board certification through the American Board of Family Medicine (ABFM) or American Osteopathic Board of Family Physicians (AOBFP), or the ability to obtain such certification within three years of employment
• Idaho medical licensure to practice in all its phases
• Valid controlled substance registration with Idaho Boards of Pharmacy & DEA
