About the Role
The Company is seeking a Chief Compliance Officer and Equal Employment Opportunity Officer to join its team. The successful candidate will be responsible for agency risk mitigation, the development and implementation of internal controls to ensure compliance with legal and regulatory obligations, and the management of internal complaints and investigations. This dual role also involves promoting an inclusive and respectful work environment, free from discrimination and harassment, in line with the company's EEO policy. The Chief Compliance Officer will oversee the agency's compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements, conduct internal investigations, and participate in the training program. As the EEO Officer, the candidate will lead the development of EEO-related policies, conduct investigations, provide training, and monitor the agency's compliance with EEO laws and best practices. Applicants must have a Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an ABA-accredited law school, active bar membership, and a minimum of three years of recent full-time relevant legal experience. The role requires a candidate with a strong legal background, excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in compliance, ethics, and risk management, as well as experience in EEO and diversity and inclusion initiatives. The position demands a high level of integrity, professionalism, and the ability to maintain confidentiality. The Chief Compliance Officer will also be expected to collaborate with various divisions and offices to ensure the application of laws, rules, and best practices to the company's operations.
