Product Owner

Our client, a leader in the retail and consumer goods industry, is seeking a Product Owner to join their team. As a Product Owner, you will be part of the Digital Strategy Department supporting the eCommerce and Marketing teams. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, strategic thinking, and a collaborative mindset which will align successfully in the organization. Job Title: Product Owner Location: El Segundo, CA What’s the Job? Serve as Product Owner for Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) platforms, managing backlog creation, prioritization, and delivery aligned with business objectives Translate business needs into clear user stories, requirements, and acceptance criteria to guide development teams Partner with marketing, eCommerce, and analytics teams to define product strategy and develop roadmaps Leverage consumer data to inform decision‑making, identify growth opportunities, and enhance customer experience Monitor product performance through KPIs and dashboards, iterating based on insights and experimentation such as A/B testing and personalization What’s Needed? Minimum of 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Product Owner, or similar role in a DTC or eCommerce environment Strong understanding of consumer data, segmentation, and lifecycle marketing Hands‑on experience with CDPs, marketing automation, and eCommerce platforms Proven ability to translate data insights into actionable product or business strategies Experience working in Agile environments with cross‑functional teams What’s in it for me?
