Salary Transparency:

The expected annual salary range for this role in New Jersey is between $120,000.00 and $190,000.00 . The final compensation for the selected candidate will be influenced by various factors, including their educational qualifications, skills, and professional experience.

Work Schedule:

• This is a full-time night shift position.
• Hours: 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM.

Position Summary:

The Physician Assistant (PA) operates as an autonomous healthcare provider, managing outpatient care in collaboration with a physician. The PA delivers services in alignment with the practice's objectives, policies, and the regulations set forth by the New Jersey State Board of Medical Examiners Physician Assistant Advisory Committee.

Key Responsibilities:

• Exhibits the ability to organize and maintain high-quality performance in routine tasks.
• Effectively coordinates various aspects of patient care.
• Conducts appropriate assessments and treatments for patients.
• Interprets laboratory and diagnostic tests accurately.
• Demonstrates strong organizational abilities, effective communication, and time management skills.
• Works independently while coordinating care with physicians and other consulting providers.
• Interacts compassionately with patients across diverse care settings.
• Identifies areas for policy or patient care improvement, initiates changes, and educates all stakeholders involved.
• Thoroughly explains procedures to patients prior to testing.
• Provides necessary patient education.

Qualifications:

• Preferred: Acute care certification.
• Preferred: FCCS certification.
• Preferred: 1 to 2 years of experience in an acute care hospital setting.
• Current PA certification required.
• Current New Jersey state license, CDS, and DEA required.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications are mandatory.
