Payor Credentialing Coordinator Palliative

Pride Health is hiring a Payor Credentialing Coordinator Palliative to support our client's healthcare facility in Atlanta, GA. Job Details: Schedule: M-F 9a-5p, with a hybrid schedule. Location: Atlanta, GA (Monday & Friday: Remote) AND (TuesdayThursday: In Office). Job Type: Local contract. Contract Length: 13 weeks.

Duties:

• Prepare and submit credentialing and re-credentialing applications for healthcare providers.
• Enroll providers with Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial insurance payers.
• Track credentialing and enrollment applications and proactively monitor approval timelines.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date provider credentialing files and records.
• Manage and update CAQH profiles and NPPES information.
• Collect, review, and verify provider documentation, including licenses, certifications, malpractice insurance, and other required credentials.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and payer-specific credentialing and enrollment requirements.
• Serve as a liaison between healthcare providers, insurance payers, billing, HR, and other internal departments.
• Respond to payer inquiries and resolve credentialing issues, discrepancies, and delays.
• Monitor credentialing pipelines and prioritize activities based on deadlines and operational needs.
• Participate in credentialing status meetings and provide timely updates on application progress.
• Maintain accurate documentation and data integrity across internal tracking and credentialing systems.
• Handle confidential provider and organizational information with discretion.
• Follow organizational policies, procedures, compliance standards, and applicable laws and regulations.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of recent, relevant experience in provider credentialing, payer enrollment, healthcare billing, or healthcare administration.
• Strong experience with credentialing and enrollment processes.
• Working knowledge of CAQH and NPPES.
• Experience working with Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial payers preferred.
• Strong data processing and data-entry skills with exceptional attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet strict deadlines.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work with sensitive and confidential information.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience using internal tracking, HR, billing, or credentialing systems.
• Ability to manage time-sensitive information from multiple sources.
• Must be a self-starter with the ability to ramp up quickly and work independently.

Preferred: Associate or Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, or a related field. Certified Provider Credentialing Specialist (CPCS) certification. Experience supporting palliative care, hospice, healthcare transitions, or other clinical service environments.
