About the Position

TravelNurseSource is working with Pioneer Healthcare Services to find a qualified NICU RN in Durango, Colorado, 81301!

If you want to make a significant impact as a Registered Nurse - Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) in DURANGO, CO this position might be what you are looking for!

Responsibilities:

• Provide specialized, high-acuity care to premature and critically ill newborns in a Level II, III, or IV NICU.
• Monitor and assess neonates’ vital signs, oxygen levels, neurological status, and overall condition.
• Administer medications, including surfactants, antibiotics, sedatives, and vasopressors, as prescribed.
• Manage life-supporting interventions such as mechanical ventilation, CPAP, and high-flow oxygen therapy.

Qualifications:

• CO Registered Nurse License
• BLS and NRP required
• PALS preferred
• Certified Neonatal Intensive Care Nurse (RNC-NIC) preferred
