Special Projects Project Manager

Hunton Services is seeking a motivated and solutions-oriented Project Manager to join our Special Projects division, supporting HVAC mechanical projects for industrial clients. In this role, you’ll oversee the entire project lifecycle — from initiation through close-out — ensuring successful delivery of complex industrial HVAC and cooling solutions. This is an exciting opportunity to lead high-impact projects that drive performance and reliability for major industrial operations.Join an industry leader consistently recognized as a Top Workplace both locally and nationally!What You’ll DoManage HVAC mechanical projects from start to finish for industrial customers, ensuring delivery on time, within scope, and within budget.Coordinate internal teams and third-party vendors to ensure smooth project execution.Develop detailed project schedules and track progress, proactively addressing any delays or issues.Conduct forecasting and budget tracking to maintain financial performance and identify potential risks.Monitor changes in scope and timelines, ensuring appropriate documentation and communication with all stakeholders.Build and maintain strong working relationships with clients, vendors, subcontractors, and internal teams.Maintain clear, consistent communication with field personnel to align execution with project objectives.Lead project close-out activities, including warranty documentation and final reporting.Utilize project management tools and software to document milestones, requirements, and progress.Contribute to a safety-first culture by ensuring compliance with all safety procedures on job sites.What You’ll BringProven experience managing HVAC or process cooling projects within industrial environments such as Oil & Gas, chemical plants, heavy manufacturing, or laboratories.Strong working knowledge of HVAC mechanical systems and industrial cooling applications.Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.High attention to detail, strong organizational abilities, and effective multitasking skills.Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and MS Project.The ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive collaboration across stakeholders.A post-secondary degree or relevant certification is a plus, but not required.Candidates are encouraged to share examples of past industrial projects they have managed.Be part of a team that values craftsmanship, integrity, and continuous growth.Apply today and take your HVAC career to the next level with Hunton Services - where innovation meets opportunity. #J-18808-Ljbffr The-Hunton-Group
