Job Description: As a Diesel Shop Service Advisor, you will be the primary point of contact for our clients seeking diesel engine services. Your role will be crucial in maintaining exceptional customer satisfaction and ensuring smooth operations within our service department. Responsibilities include: Assigning work to qualified technicians Dispatches and assigns work with instructions to technicians Invoices completed repair orders prior to releasing the vehicle Can effectively utilize businesses’ system to look up parts and invoice parts Obtain authorization and ensure documents are signed prior to releasing the trucks to customers Follow up with the parts department to ensure that all needed parts are ordered and confirm the estimated delivery date Build positive and enduring relationships with customers for repeat business.
