This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on problem solving, building maintenance, and working with internal teams and service vendors.Schedule: 1st Shift Monday - Friday / 8 am - 5 pmWhat You Will DoPerform basic maintenance and minor repairs, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general building maintenanceConduct routine facility inspections to identify safety or maintenance issuesCoordinate preventative maintenance and repair work with vendors and contractorsRespond to employee service requests and resolve facility-related issuesSupport office moves, furniture setup, and workspace reconfigurationsMaintain inventory of maintenance supplies, tools, and equipmentAssist with emergency preparedness activities, including building safety proceduresMaintain records of maintenance work, service requests, and vendor activitiesEnsure facility operations comply with safety standards and company policiesPartner with internal teams to support operational needs and workplace projectsBasic RequirementsTypically, minimum 0-2 years of relevant experience. May have degree or equivalentHigh School Diploma or GED2+ years of experience in facilities maintenance, building maintenance, operations, or a related fieldExperience performing basic repairs in plumbing, electrical, HVAC, or general building systemsExperience using Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)Valid driver's license (if required for the position)Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbsAbility to perform physical tasks, including climbing ladders, bending, reaching, and kneelingPreferred Skills / ExperienceAssociate degree, trade certification, or vocational training in facilities maintenance or a related fieldExperience coordinating external contractors or vendorsStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving skillsExperience maintaining maintenance logs or work order systemsCustomer service experience in a facilities or operations environmentExperience supporting office relocations or workspace planningWork EnvironmentOn-site role supporting office, warehouse, and operational facilitiesActive work environment requiring movement throughout the facilityFrequent standing, walking, climbing, bending, and liftingMay work in indoor and outdoor environments depending on facility needsOccasional after-hours or emergency support may be requiredExposure to typical maintenance and building operations conditionsWe are proud to offer a competitive compensation package at McKesson as part of our Total Rewards.
