Job Summary And Qualifications Performs the monitoring functions of the department. Fulfills departmental responsibilities that foster the goals of the hospital’s mission and vision statement. Provides a supportive environment that encourages teamwork and ensures effective communication. What you will do in this role Demonstrates knowledge of human growth and development, assessment, range of treatment, and care of patients appropriate to the ages of patients served. Promotes customer service initiatives. Provides continuous observation of telemetry monitors. Recognizes & reports any arrhythmias. Documents monitor tracing. Communicates findings to nursing staff and physicians on a regular basis. Maintains telemetry monitoring equipment. Assists in maintenance of department supplies. Participates in process improvement. Qualifications Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date High School Diploma / GED preferred Completion of telemetry monitoring/arrhythmia course Successfully passing an arrhythmia interpretation examination annually We are an equal opportunity employer.
