Position Summary

The Commercial Team Lead is responsible for leading commercial cleaning crews, ensuring quality standards are met, maintaining strong client relationships, and supporting the day-to-day operations of commercial accounts. This position requires leadership, attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to train and motivate team members while delivering exceptional service.

Responsibilities

Lead and work alongside team members during commercial cleaning assignments.

Ensure all cleaning tasks are completed according to Suds & Co. standards.

Conduct quality inspections before leaving each job site.

Train and mentor new commercial cleaning technicians.

Communicate with management regarding staffing, supplies, client concerns, and job progress.

Maintain positive and professional relationships with clients.

Manage team productivity and ensure efficient use of scheduled time.

Monitor inventory and report supply needs.

Ensure all safety procedures and company policies are followed.

Handle client requests and resolve minor issues on-site when appropriate.

Complete required documentation, checklists, and reports.

Qualifications

Previous professional cleaning experience preferred.

Leadership or supervisory experience preferred.

Strong communication and organizational skills.

Ability to work independently and lead a team.

Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license.

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical cleaning tasks.

Dependable, punctual, and detail-oriented.

Ability to pass a background check.

Qualifications:

Previous housekeeping/janitorial experience preferred

Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to commute between job sites

Ability to read and follow cleaning instructions

Ability to differentiate between cleaning products and uses

Strong communication and customer service skills

Ability to lift and carry 20 lbs of equipment

Ability to withstand regular physical contact with dog and cat hair, mold, dust, mildew, and cleaning solutions
