Job Summary:
An Endoscopy Lab Procedural Registered Nurse (RN) position is available in Gastonia, North Carolina. This role involves working in a specialized endoscopy unit with a focus on adult gastrointestinal and pulmonary procedures, including starting IVs, patient transport, and assisting with procedures such as esophagogastroduodenoscopy (EGD), colonoscopy (COLO), and bronchoscopies. Candidates are required to bring their nursing license on the first day of assignment.

Job Details:

• Location: Gastonia, North Carolina
• Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per day, with a minimum of 40 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license; 2 years of endoscopy experience; active American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications; no minimum experience requirement specified beyond 2 years for qualification purposes
• Preferred Qualifications: None specified
• Float: Float rotation may be required
• Additional Information: This position is in an endoscopy unit with four procedure rooms, performing 30-40 patients daily, with a 2:1 patient-to-staff ratio for post and pre-procedure care.
