Pay: Up to $33/hour ($68,640 annually)

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced CNC Machinist to join a growing manufacturing team in Vancouver, WA. In this role, you will be responsible for machine setup, tooling selection, first article inspections, program verification, and operating multiple CNC machines while maintaining high quality standards. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys precision machining, problem-solving, and working in a collaborative shop environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Select and install the correct tooling for each job.
• Load fixtures and verify proper machine setup.
• Perform first article inspections to ensure programs and machines are operating accurately.
• Monitor tool wear and machining performance.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work instructions.
• Adjust feeds, speeds, and cut depths as required.
• Troubleshoot and prove out new programs before production runs.
• Operate multiple CNC machines simultaneously while maintaining quality and efficiency.
• Inspect finished parts to ensure dimensional accuracy and conformance to specifications.

Required Qualifications

• Experience performing full machine setups on 3-4 axis horizontal mills.
• Strong CNC machining and setup experience.
• Working knowledge of G-Code and M-Code programming.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Basic understanding of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing).
• Experience using precision measuring tools and performing quality inspections.

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced knowledge of GD&T principles.
• Strong math and geometry skills.
• Experience with Mastercam programming.
• Ability to troubleshoot machining and setup issues independently.

Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Vancouver, WA.

Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $56160.00 - $68640.00/yr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
