Job Description
Title: ICU Float Registered Nurse

Schedule: NIGHTS, Every Other Weekend (EOW), Holidays/On-Call/Callback/Charge per Unit Needs

Assignment Details:
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Requirements:
- RN License (NY License ONLY)
- BLS (American Heart Association ONLY)
- ACLS (American Heart Association ONLY)
- RN with ICU acute care experience
- Two (2) Years Experience

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care in various ICU specialties including MICU, SICU, and Respiratory Special Care.
- Monitor and assess patient conditions, delivering critical interventions as required.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Maintain accurate and comprehensive patient records in compliance with protocols and best practices.
- Educate patients and families on care plans, recovery processes, and available resources.
- Utilize strong critical thinking and organizational skills to manage complex patient care situations.

Compliance / Notes:
- Must remain current in knowledge of critical care.
