Hangers of Hope
SUMMARY To process donations from donors to retail. The primary duty is to sort and price seasonal donations throughout the year. Pricing will be in compliance with company policies and standards, procedures, and the Hangers of Hope Thrift Stores' Mission Statement.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB 1. Is able to daily perform any of the required job duties within the production team. This includes all requirements related to accepting donations, presorting and pricing merchandise.
2. Process seasonal items according to the established standards 3. Help maintain clean and well-organized reception, presort and processing areas.
4. Maintain clean and well-organized personal processing station.
5. Adhere to, daily, all employee policies and procedures outlined in the Employee Policy and Procedures manual and the Bethesda Mission Statement.
6. Ability to recognize quality merchandise and effectively seek guidance on pricing from Warehouse Manager.
7. Work with and effectively communicate with the Warehouse Manager, other processing employees and donors on a daily basis.
8. Daily serve with fellow employees so that there is a healthy and productive work environment.
9. Adhere to daily and weekly production goals.
10. Ability to produce quick and accurate work in a fast-paced environment.
11. Understand and comply with policies and procedures related to donated items, including prohibited items and pricing guides.
12. Other duties assigned SPIRITUAL GUIDELINES
