Travel RN - ICUAmerican TravelerBristol, Tennessee, United StatesPosition status: OpenAssignment type: travelShift: DaysLength (weeks): 13Openings: 1$2,095.00/week (estimated advertised weekly pay)DescriptionAmerican Traveler is hiring an experienced ICU RN requiring TN or compact licensure, ACLS/BLS/NIHSS certification, and floating capability to PCU and MS units.DetailsICU setting requiring floating to PCU (1:5 ratio) and MS (1:7 ratio)Day shift schedule, 3x12 hours from 6:30 to 19:00Schedule options include 36/36, 36/48, or 48/48 with 4 weekend shifts per schedule periodNo on-call requirementsEpic charting system preferredRequirementsActive TN or compact RN license requiredMinimum 1 year of ICU experience requiredAHA BLS, AHA ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required (AHA certification is the only accepted form)PALS certification preferredSkilled in IV therapy, central/PICC line management, arterial line management, and blood product administrationExperience with ventilator management, ABG interpretation, and BiPAP/CPAP management requiredExperience with cardiac drip titration, dysrhythmia management, and 12-lead EKG/ECG requiredExperience with CVA/acute stroke management and cardiac monitoring/emergency response requiredExperience with continuous IV sedation and emergency medication administration requiredIsolation precautions/PPE knowledge requiredAdditional InformationMust reside at least 100 miles from the facility (locals not accepted)First-time travelers are welcome to applyGeneral orientation begins on Sundays with online CBLs; Sunday start dates available upon completion of compliance documents by deadlineRelias EKG testing required within 72 hours of signing, with a maximum of two attempts allowedDrug test must be completed 12-14 calendar days prior to start with no scheduling conflicts during that windowFacial hair must be trimmed or removed to meet CDC fit testing guidelinesContract RN team members are expected to participate in nursing student support and clinical education alongside direct patient care
