Ultrasound Technologist II

Position Summary Perform and record two‑dimensional ultrasound diagnostic examinations, consult with providers, and evaluate patient data. Complete patient intakes, answer imaging questions, and collaborate on additional imaging needs. Performs diagnostic ultrasound exams and collects patient history. Consults with imaging providers and determines if additional images are required. Recommends additional images or imaging referrals when appropriate. Benefits and Compensation Expected hourly pay: $39.13 – $51.21 (base pay may increase based on experience, skills and internal equity). Weekend Differential: $2.50 Sign‑On Bonus: $4,000 Vacation: 24 hours of vacation and holiday time available day 1 for candidates with 5+ years of direct experience. Qualifications Required Completion of an accredited ultrasound program. Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) or Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) with ARDMS or CCI. One ARDMS or CCI specialization (Abdomen, Breast, Fetal Echocardiography, Obstetrics/Gynecology, or RVT) as required by OSF. American Heart Association BLS certification. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Strong computer skills (Microsoft software proficiency). Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills. Detail oriented. Preferred Previous clinical experience to independently perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures and gain patient care knowledge.
