Campus Supervisor
The School District of Clayton is seeking a Campus Supervisor for Clayton High School. The Campus Supervisor position includes a variety of supervisory duties requiring initiative, independent judgment, and decision-making within established policies. Duties frequently require the discreet and tactful handling of confidential material, and interaction with the staff, parents, students, and community.
Position Summary: The Campus Supervisor manages various aspects of student attendance and behavior, including absences, tardies, detention assignments, and disruptive behavior.
Reports To: Assistant Principal
Essential Job Duties:
- Notifies parents and students regarding detention notices for unexcused absences and tardies.
- Manages list of missing or owed detention for missing classes or behavioral and discipline issues.
- Escorts students out of class for disruptive behavior and to serve detention.
- Monitors student behavior in the commons, hallways, and rec center.
- Manages disruptive behavior, fights, and de-escalations.
- Performs substitute teacher duties somewhat regularly.
- Assists with other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications Required qualifications to effectively perform job. An equivalent combination of education, training, and experience will be considered.
- An associate's Degree is preferred.
- Substitute teaching, CPS, First Aid, and Non-Violent Crisis Intervention training and certification are preferred.

- Required to occasionally move objects weighing up to 30 pounds around the workspace.
- Requires travel to multiple work sites within the District using reliable, personal transportation.
Education: A minimum of a Bachelor's degree is preferred.
Certification: A Missouri Substitute Certificate is preferred.
Experience: Prefers 2-3 years training and/or experience in working with adolescents and young adults.
Compensation: $16.83 - $22.79

Work Calendar: 188 day calendar.
