Sourcing Manager

Clean Harbors is looking for a Sourcing Manager to join their safety conscious team in Norwell, MA. The Sourcing Manager is responsible for managing sourcing initiatives within specific categories of spend, developing and executing overall category strategies and tactics to support business needs. They collaborate with business partners to assess internal requirements and external market conditions, develop business solutions, optimize cost, quality, and customer service, and implement best‑in‑class sourcing strategies that drive bottom‑line results. Participate in the development of the annual sourcing plan and ongoing identification of cost‑saving opportunities in selected categories. Assist in developing and executing sourcing strategies in assigned category/commodity areas to support corporate, business unit, and procurement objectives. Partner with business stakeholders to manage selected vendors, ensuring performance meets business needs and identifying continuous improvement opportunities around cost, quality, and delivery. Participate in negotiation strategy development and execution, ensuring terms support the company’s needs and align with market conditions. Prepare analyses on market, vendor, cost drivers, and spend to support cost‑saving identification. Conduct one‑off tactical sourcing initiatives to achieve better cost, quality, and delivery. Meet with business partners to understand needs and opportunities to impact cost. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree required. 5–7 years of experience in sourcing or procurement. Strong organization, problem‑solving, analysis, decision‑making, collaboration, communication, project planning, and project management skills. Experience developing functional sourcing skills such as needs identification, vendor capability linkage, data collection and analysis, competitive bidding, industry and competitive analysis, negotiation, strategy formation, and vendor relationship management. Ability to collaborate and influence others and work in a team to manage projects. Pay Range: $58,075.00 – $183,957.45 Annually. Location: Norwell, MA. Clean Harbors is an equal opportunity employer.
