Fire Alarm Service Technician Redwood City Alarms, Inc. | Redwood City, CA | Full-Time Redwood City Alarms is seeking an experienced Fire Alarm Service Technician to join our growing team. We're looking for a technician who can confidently troubleshoot, service, inspect, and program fire alarm systems with minimal supervision. Competitive pay: $50-$75/hour , DOE Health and dental benefits Company-paid training and NICET certification support Prevailing wage project opportunities Company vehicle available based on performance Stable workload with opportunities for consistent full-time hours Opportunity to work with Siemens and other leading fire alarm platforms What You'll Do Perform inspections, testing, troubleshooting, service, and repairs on fire alarm systems Program and commission fire alarm control panels and associated devices Diagnose system issues and provide effective solutions in the field Complete service reports and inspection documentation accurately and on time Communicate findings and recommendations to customers Ensure work is completed in accordance with NFPA standards, manufacturer requirements, and local codes Participate in an on-call rotation as needed Required Qualifications NICET Level II or higher, or equivalent industry experience California Fire/Life Safety Technician Certification (Blue Card) Strong troubleshooting and service background with commercial fire alarm systems Ability to read plans, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals Knowledge of NFPA 72 and applicable fire alarm codes Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Ability to work independently and manage your schedule effectively Preferred Qualifications Experience with Siemens fire alarm systems Experience with Potter, Kidde, or EST systems Prior experience performing inspections and service in occupied commercial buildings Additional low-voltage, controls, or life safety experience What Makes Someone Successful Here?
