Respiratory Therapist

Respiratory Therapist Location: Watertown, New York Schedule: Full-time, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM (every other weekend) Compensation: $73K - $90K per year + $10,000 sign-on bonus (two-year commitment) We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Respiratory Therapist to join a collaborative healthcare team. In this role, you will play a key part in improving patient outcomes by delivering high-quality respiratory therapy and conducting specialized sleep studies in accordance with established protocols. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct polysomnography testing, including routine nocturnal studies, daytime studies, and multiple sleep latency testing, under the supervision of the Medical Director.
- Maintain accurate patient records, both electronic and paper-based, including data entry into billing and patient care systems.
- Assess and address age-specific needs of patients using an understanding of growth and development principles.
- Assist with EEG testing as needed.
- Ensure all care provided adheres to patient safety standards and regulatory requirements.
- Current BLS certification (required).
- Licensed by the State of New York as an RT or RTT with authorization to perform oxygen therapy, CPAP, or bi-level titrations (required).
- At least one year of respiratory therapy experience (preferred).
- Strong communication, documentation, and patient care skills.
- $10,000 sign-on bonus (with two-year commitment).
