IT Infrastructure Technician

Full-time

  • Support end-user workstations and mobile devices, from imaging and deployment through escalated hardware and software issues.
  • Assist in configuration of tune firewall policy, content filtering, and intrusion detection and prevention.
  • Apply endpoint protection and hardening standards across servers, workstations, and network devices, staying ahead of emerging threats to the equipment we run.

  • Knowledge on administering Windows Server, Active Directory, and Microsoft 365, with some exposure to Linux server administration.
  • Working knowledge of backup and recovery, along with virtualization such as Nutanix or Hyper-V.
  • Strong communication and customer service, explaining technical issues patiently to non-technical employees and building good working relationships across the company.
  • Comfortable juggling projects and competing priorities, we're deliberate about most of our work, but when something needs to move fast, we move fast.
  • Willingness to participate in an on-call rotation and travel occasionally to our other sites, including overnight stays.
  • Prompt and reliable attendance

Love-To-Haves:

  • Vendor networking certifications from Extreme Networks (ECA/ECS), Fortinet (FCA, FCP, or the legacy NSE track), or Cisco Meraki (CMSS/ECMS).

  • Demonstrated expertise administering Microsoft 365 and Entra ID — tenant configuration, identity, and security policy.
  • Hands-on time with enterprise backup platforms.
  • Automation experience with scripting languages such as PowerShell or Python.
