What You'll Do

• Provide comprehensive care to adults with acute and chronic conditions all while promoting wellness, preventive health, and patient education.
• Collaborate closely with physicians and multidisciplinary clinical teams.
• Perform in-office procedures, prescribe medications, and interpret/manage diagnostic results.
• Participate in quality initiatives and team-based improvement efforts.
• Respond to urgent situations and support patient safety.
• Ensure strict confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA and all InterMed policies.
• Carry out additional responsibilities aligned with InterMed's mission, vision, and values.

What You Bring

• 3+ years of experience post-graduation from accredited Nurse Practitioner program (MSN Master of Science in Nursing, or DNP Doctor of Nursing Practice) or Physician Assistant program (MPAS Master of Physician Assistant Studies, MSPA Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies, MHS Master of Health Science)
• Active or pending, unencumbered licensure to practice as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in the state of Maine
• Board Certification
• Active or pending DEA Certification in the state of Maine
• Active BLS certification
• Maintain continuing education appropriate for scope of practice and licensure

Final offers are based on various factors, including skill set, experience, location, qualifications, and other job-related reasons. Certain positions may be eligible for incentive compensation plans above and beyond base compensation.
