Staff Accountant

Overview The Staff Accountant will work closely with senior accounting staff, property managers, and external advisors, gaining broad exposure to real estate financials, entity structures, and cash management in a collaborative office setting. Responsibilities Accounting & Financial Operations Assist with monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes Prepare and post journal entries and account reconciliations Maintain general ledger for multiple real estate entities (LLCs, partnerships) Support preparation of financial statements and internal reports Tax & Compliance Support Assist with preparation of schedules for tax returns (K-1s, 1099s) Maintain organized documentation for audits, lenders, and tax advisors Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting procedures General Support Assist with cash management and bank reconciliations Help improve accounting processes and reporting efficiencies Special projects as needed Qualifications Required Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field 2–4 years of accounting experience, preferably with real estate exposure Working knowledge of general ledger accounting Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, formulas) Ability to work full-time in-office in Boca Raton, Florida Preferred Familiarity with LLCs, partnerships, and family office structures Progress toward CPA or CPA eligibility a plus Skills & Attributes High level of discretion and confidentiality Strong communication skills and professional demeanor Ability to manage multiple entities and deadlines Proactive, detail-oriented, and collaborative #J-18808-Ljbffr MSI Company
