Registered Nurse - CVICU

Job Summary:
Provide specialized nursing care to cardiac intensive care unit (CVICU) patients during night shifts, ensuring patient safety and optimal recovery outcomes. Utilize clinical expertise to deliver high-quality, evidence-based care in a fast-paced critical care environment.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patient conditions continuously and develop individualized care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and hospital protocols.
• Monitor and interpret vital signs, cardiac rhythms, and other critical indicators.
• Document patient progress accurately using the Epic electronic charting system.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Adhere to shift schedules and maintain patient ratios of 1:2 during overnight hours.

Qualifications:

• Hold an active state or compact nursing license at the time of application.
• Possess a minimum of 2 years of recent CVICU or critical care nursing experience.
• Certification in ACLS and BLS required.
• Demonstrate proficiency with Epic charting and electronic medical records.
• Be compliant with all travel and staffing regulations, including on-time onboarding and RTO restrictions.
• Exhibit strong clinical judgment and excellent communication skills.
