Job Description
Precision Auto Works of LIC, located in Queens , has a full-time Estimator position available. A NYS appraiser's license is required.
Responsibilities include:
- Providing exceptional customer service in person, by phone, and by email.
- Writing estimates and supplements in CCC.
- Ordering parts.
- Meeting with Adjusters.
- Creating and maintaining highly professional industry, insurance/DRP relationships.
- Job Scheduling.
- Cost containment/job profit maximization.
- Willing to commit to employer sponsored continuous education as needed to learn and stay up to date with OEM repair procedures.
- Ability to negotiate.
- Communicate with various teams that are involved in the vehicle orientation process.
- Troubleshoot issues and escalate to management through appropriate channels when needed.
- Perform additional responsibilities as assigned to meet business needs.
- High attention to detail.
Requirements:
- 5+ years experience
