Senior Manager, Data Engineering at Veracyte
Leading the development and operation of enterprise data platforms to support scientific, clinical, operational, and commercial teams.

- Ensuring data quality, security, compliance, and operational excellence

- Translating complex requirements into scalable data solutions

- Driving continuous improvement in data engineering practices
Requirements
- Bachelor's in a related field
- 8+ years in data or software engineering
- 5+ years of people management
- Hands-on experience with SQL, Python, data pipelines, and cloud platforms, especially AWS
- Proven ability to lead technical teams and influence across functions
Preferred qualifications
- Experience in biopharma, diagnostics, healthcare, or regulated environments
- Familiarity with bioinformatics, ML/AI data workflows
- Managing data costs and security
The position is based in San Diego (hybrid) or US remote, with salary ranges of $192,825–$258,000 depending on location and experience.
