Emergency Room Registered Nurse

The Emergency Room Registered Nurse will work 12-hour shifts in a fast-paced environment. Weekend shifts are required as part of the contract. The nurse must have experience in a Trauma Level II setting. Key responsibilities include assessing and managing patients with various emergency conditions. The nurse will be required to maintain competency in advanced life support and emergency care practices. Skills required include management of critical care situations, including intubation and advanced cardiac life support. Effective communication and the ability to work in a team environment are essential. Experience with charting systems is preferred. The nurse will also provide care for patients of all age groups. Compliance with protocols and guidelines is crucial to patient safety and care quality. The ability to handle high-stress situations and prioritize patient needs is essential.
