First Assistant CVOR

Schedule: Days

Assignment Details: Contract Length: Approximately 120 days

Requirements: Minimum 2 years perioperative/CVOR experience Required specialty experience: Cardiac, Vascular, Endovascular, Thoracic Heart transplant experience highly preferred Required certifications: CSFA, NBSTSA, or NCCSA Basic mandatory: BLS Charting system: Epic (preferred) GA or Compact license must be in hand at the time of submittal

Roles & Responsibilities: Assist in surgical procedures within the scope of practice. Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Monitor patient vitals and respond to changes during procedures. Maintain a sterile environment and adhere to safety protocols. Document surgical procedures and outcomes accurately. Participate in patient evaluations and case discussions pre- and post-surgery.

Compliance / Notes: Call: Approximately 1 day/week and 1 weekend every 4 weeks RTO: Maximum 7 days; must be submitted with candidate Orientation/modules: Non-billable; NBO hours determined by contract length Compliance document deadline: Tuesday prior to start COVID-19 vaccine: Not required; Flu vaccine: unknown
