MARKETING TEAM LEADER JOB DESCRIPTION

 

Douglas Water Conditioning is looking to hire a Marketing & Advertising Coordinator to join its team. We are a leader in the water treatment industry with over 50 years of experience specializing in water treatment systems, drinking water systems, bottled water, softener salt, etc., and we are affiliated with Costco. Douglas Water Conditioning has a loyal customer base and we are extremely successful at providing stable careers for our employees and problem free water for our customers. 

 

Reports To

• Service & Sales Manager
• All Managing Partners

 

Job Responsibilities

 

• Assist with marketing and advertising strategies
• Drive sales growth
• Work with Store Service Manager or Sales Manager to stay productive, maintain efficient work practices, provide excellent customer service, and minimize issues in the field.
• Network with builders and create a referral program through the HBA
• Set up, tear down, and work the Costco road shows, home shows and other marketing events
• Generate new business opportunities by canvassing, through promotional ads, and direct mailers
• Create a social media interface allowing customers to ask questions and inquire about products and services
• Build a better online presence to market Douglas Water Conditioning
• Assist the service department by running tune ups and service calls when needed
• Be present at the store on scheduled floor times
• Run sales appointments, which may be during evenings and/or weekends
• Miscellaneous duties as assigned

 

Skills and Qualifications

 

• Computer proficient - MS Office Applications, Video/Photo Editing Experience
• Customer friendly
• Must have basic math (adding, subtraction, multiplication and division)
• Ability to multi-task
• Semi-Flexible Hours - May be asked to work some evenings or weekend days depending on scheduled events

 

Education

 

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent required

 

Compensation Status

• Salary Or Hourly Exempt
• $45,000+ annual
• Commission eligibility
