Job Title: Physician, General ENT | Sleep Surgery (Open Rank/Track Faculty) Department: Medicine | Otolaryngology The physician provides licensed medical care, including diagnosis, specialized surgical expertise in treating severe sleep disorders, treatment (including surgery or pre/post‑surgical care where appropriate), case management, and clinical research. The Physician manages complex and sometimes unpredictable situations. The Physician must be competent in technical, clinical, and surgical skills (where appropriate), cognitive and interpersonal skills required to serve those patients receiving the above‑mentioned services. The Physician is expected to practice within the established Medical Center and physician’s standards of practice (policies, procedures, protocols), and adhere to key results areas of the Medical Center. Required Qualifications Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) Board certified or board eligible in required specialization Successful completion of a Sleep Surgery Program State of Ohio and DEA licensure required Faculty Definition – Clinical faculty (regardless of rank) are individuals with titles such as assistant professor‑clinical, associate professor‑clinical, and professor‑clinical. Tenure‑track faculty (regardless of rank) include assistant professor, associate professor, or professor who are eligible for tenure or have obtained tenure. Research faculty (regardless of rank) include research assistant professor, research associate professor, or research professor.
