Job Title: Capital Projects Procurement Specialist III- Sr StaffWork Place Flexibility: Hybrid Legal Entity: Entergy Services, LLC **Position opened for: S24256, S28134, S27835**Job PurposeThis position will partner with various customer-facing function leaders to ensure desired outcomes for the Customer Centricity Organization. The Capital Project Procurement Specialist utilizes advanced supply chain and capital projects knowledge and experience to implement Supplier Commercial Excellence for an assigned Customer, Marketing, and Innovation Portfolios within the organization. The specialist is Supply Chain’s (SC) single point of contact and lead for a given project(s) and supports deployment of Entergy’s customer centric capital investment strategy across the company’s business units. The role may be assigned to multiple business units to leverage end-to-end value across an assigned portfolio of spend. The specialist supports the identification, development, and execution of customer-centric projects by leading commercial efforts for project planning, development of a commercial strategy, sourcing of contracts and agreements, and for supplier relationship management/performance through vendor management and the commercial contract management processes. The position operates within Entergy’s Project Delivery Standard (PDS, stage gate process) and utilizes SC’s processes to support the delivery of safety, cost, quality, schedule, and customer satisfaction measures. Assignments of increasing scale and complexity will be provided commensurate with the demonstrated technical, professional, inter-personal and leadership skills. The specialist operates autonomously but may require minimal supervision or assistance in areas where the knowledge or experiences have not been fully developed.Key interfaces are with customer-facing functional leads, Project & Product Manager, Financial Business Partners, SPO designees, jurisdictional project leaders, etc. Other functional interfaces include SC departments (e.g., Category Management, Supplier Local Engagement), Tax, Finance, Operations, Risk Management, Safety, Legal, and Regulatory Legal.Core ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain relationships with stakeholders to ensure SC engagement in the capital project, innovation and agile process are met.Actively engage and collaborate with external and internal customer initiatives across the Customer-Centricity and Supply Chain organization on pilots and special commercial projects with Entergy’s cross-functional deal teams.Support commercial partnership initiatives.Facilitate supplier’s journey and engagement within the customer organization.Actively promote strong safety behaviors and ensure the team always puts safety firstUtilize key tools, programs, and proactive field visits to assure standards and behaviorsMonitor and influence suppliers to proactively identify any safety concernsPerform storm role duties as assigned through the Storm Assignment Management System (SAMS)Accountable for the development and execution of progressive commercial strategies, with the business functions, in support of objectives to drive value and service delivery and enable favorable outcomes for all key stakeholdersCollaborate with the business units and other stakeholders to support the deployment of capital funds in line with Entergy’s strategiesDevelop commercial strategies and contract plans aligned to project needs; maximize leverage through aggregation opportunities across similar scopes of work; maximize value through optimization of price, contract terms, performance standards, and service levelsPerform Bid–Evaluate–Award activities in line with SC policy and processesEnsure alignment of project behaviors to contractuallyProvide commercial management for in-flight capital projects and collaborate with stakeholders to ensure successful contract execution Manage compliance to contract provisions and administer contract change orders in collaboration with the project manager and the project change process Execute contract governance and provide oversight of supplier performance management, including claims management and dispute management/resolutionSC ownership of Project Procurement and Commercial Contract ManagementEstablish and maintain professional relationships with suppliers based on the highest ethical business practices as set forth in the Standards of Conduct and Integrity and Entergy's Supply Chain PolicesMINIMUM REQUIREMENTSEducation, Experience and/or CertificationCap Proj Procur Spec, III : Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Accounting, Engineering, Legal, or other related discipline and minimum 5+ years of combined supplier contracting, capital projects, or other related supply chain experience OR in lieu of a degree, minimum 9+ years of supplier contracting, capital projects, or other related supply chain experience;Minimum 1.5+ years’ energy industry experience in capital projects contracting and procurement Cap Proj Procur Spec Sr: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Accounting, Engineering, Legal, or other related discipline and minimum 9+ years of combined supplier contracting, capital projects, or other related supply chain experience OR in lieu of a degree, minimum 13+ years of supplier contracting, capital projects, or other related supply chain experience;Minimum 3+ years’ energy industry experience in capital projects contracting and procurementCap Proj Procur Spec Sr Staff: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Accounting, Engineering, Legal, or other related discipline and minimum 12+ years of combined supplier contracting, capital projects, or other related supply chain experience OR in lieu of a degree, minimum 16+ years of supplier contracting, capital projects, or other related supply chain experience;Minimum 3+ years’ energy industry experience in capital projects contracting and procurementMinimum 6+ years’ supply chain experience in capital projects contracting and procurement with a preference for electric utility experience.
