Associate Attorney (Hybrid)

Liebert Cassidy Whitmore (LCW), with more than 120 attorneys across five California offices, is seeking a litigation associate for its Sacramento office. This hybrid role offers flexibility along with direct client contact, courtroom experience, and the chance to work on cases that influence California employment law.

Liebert Cassidy Whitmore serves as trusted advisors to public agencies, educational institutions, and nonprofits across California. Our legal experts provide client-focused services in litigation, labor relations, negotiations, employment, education, business, and construction. LCW delivers vital web-based and live training to clients, proactively helping them avoid problems. Leveraging decades of expertise, we conduct impartial workplace investigations for California's businesses.

What You'll Do

• Conduct Substantive Witness Interviews
• Manage Discovery and Case Strategy
• Take and Defend Depositions
• Appear and Argue Motions in Court
• Draft Dispositive Motions, including Demurrers, Anti-SLAPP Motions, and Summary Judgement Motions

What We're Looking For

• Active California Bar License
• 2+ Years of Employment Law Experience (Wage & Hour, PAGA, FLSA)
• Litigation Experience Required
• Public Sector Experience a Plus
